In June 2020, while Covid-19 forced us all into social distancing, over 700 young singers and musicians from around the world participated in the first ever Side by Side: Digital. A truly digital music camp. This music video collage was the result. It is comprised of hundreds of video clips sent in by children, teenagers and student groups, mixed with contributions from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Gothenburg Vocal Ensemble, and the Side by Side 2020 youth studio orchestra and choir. In 2021, the global music camp Side by Side by El Sistema came together again online. Young singers and musicians from around the world contributed to this music video, from countries such as Sweden, Greenland, USA and Venezuela, in collaboration with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Gothenburg Girl Choir. This video was presented during Festival Concert at Side by Side: Digital.
